Registration for Virtual Site Visit Tuesday, October 15 - Polaris Leap Acquisitions, Circulation, Cataloging

We have scheduled a virtual site visit for Tuesday, October 15 with members of the CCS consortium in Illinois to review Polaris Leap Acquisitions, Serials, and Cataloging. This site visit will be virtual and is optional. It will be a chance to see more of Polaris Leap Technical Services and to find out how some public libraries are using Leap. Here is the module schedule: * 9am-10am: Acquisitions * 10:15am-11:15am: Serials * 11:30am-12:30pm: Cataloging There will be a break in-between each module to give the presenter(s) a break and to allow staff to leave and join the Zoom. Hello! We have scheduled two September site visits for Polaris Leap Circulation and Cataloging. These site visits are optional. Hello! We have scheduled two in-person site visits for September. These site visits are optional. If you are interested in these site visits, please "save the date" on your calendar. Both libraries are using Polaris Leap for Circuation and Cataloging. We will plan carpools from SCLS HQ, but you are also free to drive yourself or arrange other carpools. Pewaukee Public Library: Tuesday, September 17 from 9:30-noon (leave from SCLS HQ by 8:30am for carpooling ; lunch in Pewaukee ; return to SCLS HQ) Beaver Dam Community Library: Tuesday, September 24 from 9:30-noon (leave from SCLS HQ by 8:45am for carpooling ; lunch in Beaver Dam ; return to SCLS HQ) We will be sending out registration forms for each visit in the next week or so but I wanted to let you know about these dates sooner rather than later. Demo checklist deadline and SirsiDynix reports demo

Hello! This a reminder that the deadline for the Polaris checklists is this Friday, June 7. The checklists for each module are posted here: https://www.scls.info/ils-evaluation-2024-2025. Also, if you registered for the Reports demo, I sent an earlier email about this, but I wanted to be sure that everyone knows that we have scheduled the SirsiDynix Reports Virtual demo for Tuesday, June 18 from 9am-10:30am. This demo will be recorded, so if you cannot attend live you will be able to watch the recording. We are currently scheduling or have scheduled workgroup meetings for June to discuss follow-up questions, as well as the need for any follow-up webinars from the demos. After reviewing the poll results and consulting with the vendors, we have scheduled ILS Evaluation demos for the following dates: May 8-9: SirsiDynix May 29-30: Polaris The demos will be in hybrid format, so you will be able to attend either virtually or in-person at SCLS HQ. We are still working out the schedule for the specific modules.
